  Re: 2000 Scans are Online!

(...) What a night to be sitting in a hotel room with a 14,400 connection!!! Argh! Anyway looks like the Falcon is just about as bad as we thought although the cockpit looks a bit better than previously thought and it is still good for pieces. Still (...)   Re: 2000 Scans are Online!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 2000 looks like a much better year than 1999, though I still wish they would un=juniorize town. Artic is way COOL. And now we have polar bears! Yahoo! It might be juniorized, but I really like the new highway pieces. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Ninja vs. "real" Castle (was: Re: More news on 2000 lineup!)

All I want is pics of the new sets! That would make me happy. :-) Just to see whats useful for parts as for sets, I dont think A Empire can ever reclaim the glory they once held. I fear the glory days of lego are over...... But the good news is they (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)

  Futbol 2000

Just checked out the new scans for 2000. While Town may be dead and resting in pieces Futbol certainly offers hope for any Townies that are still around. The Bus (the first of any kind since 1979) and the TV crew set are certainly on my want list. A (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: RCX motor voltage

(...) I am using the motors that came with the RCX. (...) Hmmm - do you propose to ensure the delay in the relay circuit or programmatically? If in the circuit, how? (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: $40 Night Lord's Castle

(...) *sigh* I almost went out to check on these tonight, but when we were leaving work today I was carrying an armload of stuff, lost my footing, and ended up taking the most delightfully funny-looking spill onto the parking lot.   Re: RCX motor voltage

Wes, relays would work pretty well. (Still, how much current do your motors draw???) The LEGO motors draw about .35 Amps (350 Milliamperes) You could connect two 5V coil relays , each with a diode in series with the coil, connected oppositely to (...)   Lego vs. Pokemon

So how many other parents are going to have to battle the kids over which fast food place to go to? Hubby's gone for the week, I'm thinking "cool, I don't have to cook, the kids will be happy with McD. & we'll get our fill of the sets." But nooooo, (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)
