Re: BT2 *mostly* bites (Was: Picture of Falcon?)

(...) Like the M:tron shirts were any better? I very much like some of the BT2 sets. The rest look, well, clunky. But theme-wise, it's obvious that TLG was just trading on the Blacktron name. The ship designs, set names and the minifigs imply more (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

  NELUG on Rebelscum.com

It looks like thanks to a plug from Kevin Loch the people at rebelscum.com have picked up on our Star Wars setup at Mindfest. (URL) thing that has really supprised me about the NELUG setup at Mindfest is all the attention it and the other Mindfest (...)   Another idea about sw lego future

I just thought of something. If they're going to have this license for nine years or so, in order to stretch it out, and also to keep it viable, there's a good chance TLG will reissue the same sets every couple fo years. Not ALL of them, but it (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) and (...) Thanks for the clarification Craig. I will indeed need to practice that technique and you can bet I'll use Timmie! By the way did you catch all the puns flying around this posting group this morning? Be sure to check 'em out if you (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) yeah, i'm using the blade to literally scrape off the re-printed image. it's the same rules and technique as shaving. be sure to use a very sharp blade, and move it in clean, light strokes. keep the strokes going in one direction. brasso will (...)   Re: Your McDonalds sets

(...) Well, more to the point, if you don't want the food, you can walk into a McDonald's and just buy the toy. Collectible people will tell you that McD's doesn't do that, because they didn't- with the Beanie Babies. For every other promotional toy (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Your McDonalds sets

If you don't like McDonalds Food (I don't). If you don't want to wait for the sets (I don't). You can get them here (this auction as no connection with me - other than the fact I have bid on 3 sets): (URL) A (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Prices of 2000 Star Wars sets.

(...) Well, the AAT is an alternate model for one of the droids (Droideka, I think) and is coming out as a System set. Keep in mind, this is the first liscence TLG has gotten, and they're probably going to do a lot of new stuff. What would they have (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Jambalaya GB #2 Status

I got the box from Julie, did my thing, and am now sending it to John Di, who was skipped the first time. (25 years ago, 28-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)
