Hi Lawrence While I sympathise with your sentiments, it's not true that Lego are somehow pulling out of trains in the UK, as you imply. For a very long time, the train selection in the UK has been more modest than across the Channel - I'd guess (...) (25 years ago, 18-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I'll second that motion. This is very true. Always ask for a price check. K-Mart and the sale: Time to move on all those purple buckets I've seen here and there. $4.50 (from original $5.99) is pretty decent for 400 pcs. Although some K-Marts have (...) *Real* lasers don't even look impressive. It is pracitaclly impossible to get a laser in the visable wavelengths to cut stuff. Usually UV lasers are used for this purpose. But anyway... in Oz, proper laser pointers are about $60. You can get really (...) (25 years ago, 17-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
