  Re: Pink spaceship

(...) "Gall Force" (as it was billed by the Sci-Fi channel and the title logo) features a spacecraft crew that is all female except for 1 of their 2 droids. Think of the Sailor Scouts with NASA credentials and no superpowers. James J. (...) (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.space)

  RE: Mini Cabover Semi

(...) On a side note, It's when you start playing with the smaller bits in the LEGO system, like the racing slicks, exhuasts, tiles, etc, that you can really appreciate how WELL DESIGNED all these parts are.... Sure, it seems to take forever for new (...) (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Upcoming _Star Wars_ Mindstorms and Technics Releases

(...) Because I'm a cynic, and it sounds too good to be true. :) Also, I find the odds of so many Mindstorms kits very slim. There is already a battledroid in the DDK, so another one seems odd. An AT-AT kit for mindstorms is a dream come true, but (...) (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) some (...) <snip of some very good points> I would agree with everything Eric J. said about the list of sets. We do have hard evidence for the Falcon and the B-Wing along with Boba Fett and vestless Han. If the list is true I would not be (...) (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Ideas for Egyptian workers

Hi there fellow Adventurer fans. It is strangely quiet in this posting group lately, what gives?   Re: 1960's LEGO Parts Packs

(...) Yes I saw those, they're the European versions. It's a different seller. The Samsonite seller lives (ironically) about 10 miles from where I live north of Detroit. I was inquiring on these, possibly to bid on them. But not for over $800!!! (...) (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Junk Box #1 Thread

(...) I got Junk Box #1 about a week ago. It actually has a fairly good mix of pieces. I repacked it in a new, bigger box. I also added a bunch of Legoland stuff. It's going to Pat Shepard next. Pat, I need your address to ship this out. Bryce (...) (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Re: c++

(...) It depends... One solution is to let the motor float. Another and (I think) obvious solution is to gradually decrease the motor speed by calling SetMotorSpeed (or whatever you call that function) repeatedly with a decreasing speed value. Søren (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Why do you say that? I'm sure that even if it is based in fact, there are some errors. For example, we *know* they are releasing the Millenium Falcon next year, but I think the list of 'figs it comes with is a little ambitious (at best). But (...)   Re: What´s new at www.lego.com ?

(...) What do you mean, "enhancement"? You mean you enlarged the image? You don't gain any more information that way -- if anything, you lose meaningful data as your software makes up pixels to smooth things out. (27 years ago, 14-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  1960's LEGO Parts Packs

There is a wonderful assortment of 24 Samsonite LEGO Parts Packs on EBAY, whose auction ended today. It went for a whopping $810 (rather pricey, I would say).
