Re: General Box #3 ("minneapolis box")

(...) Hi all, I just received this from Doug and I've gone through it. Now I need Greg Kramer's address so I can send it on. And Mookie, you can cross Dough and me off the list. Also, please add me to it at the bottom. If you don't like spoilers, (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

  Train track

Has anyone attempted to create a segment of train track? I would really like to know if this element is available or currently in the works. Thanks. -Nick (25 years ago, 12-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  LegOS

Has anyone thought of building a true OS (or replacement firmware) based on LegOS? As I understand it, LegOS isn't actually an OS at all, but rather is a source code library. I guess that's the benefit of pbForth which is actually a true firmware (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Home layouts

I'm curious, how many people actually have train tracks set up and available at home to run trains on? Some folks, it is obvious from the web pages (like Joe D) that they can run trains anytime but I was just wondering about others? Having just set (...) (25 years ago, 12-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

My prompt and humble apologies for forgetting Forth, yet again :) That would also give you the necessary capabilities, though Ralph would have to speak to it's speed when doing (literally) tens of thousands of mathematical operations. -Luis (...) I don't think that NQC by itself will handle your needs. I am not an AI expert (pretty much skipped all AI classes in college), but I expect that would need a decent amount of memory to remember which behaviors have been reinforced. NQC works on top (...)
