  Re: Yellow train windows...

(...) The Model Team 5542 Black Thunder has two of them. I'm not sure where others can be found, though. Greg "He has been training in the Kitchen Stadium for years, while his rival has only been here a few months." Majewski (URL) (25 years ago, 10-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: New: Amtrak EMD type F 7 attempt

(...) Thanks for the reply and suggestions, Larry. (snipped nits/feedback comments) Tough to model some aspects, but LEGO brick applications can be surprising if one only keeps trying.   Re: Does anyone have the 8479 bar code truck?

Re: New: Amtrak EMD type F 7 attempt

Hey! Nice try. I think at first glance it really captures the spirit of a covered wagon. A few nits/feedback items: Working from the Marklin model may not be the best way to go. The F is a heavily photographed engine and there are thousands of (...) (25 years ago, 10-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Does anyone have the 8479 bar code truck?

(...) I had been meaning to correct the faulty information in my earlier post ever since I got back home and actually looked at the gear. The actual rating printed on the gear says "2.5 o 5.0 Ncm", which I assume means that it will stall somewhere (...) (25 years ago, 10-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

  Yellow train windows...

Hi everyone, Thanks to everyone who responded to my yellow school bus question. All the ideas you provided have been most helpful. I'll be posting photos of my trial busses soon. I did have one question that wasn't answered, though. Did Lego ever (...) (25 years ago, 10-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

  Lego Halloween Costume Ideas...

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a Lego Halloween costume. So far, I've been able to find one example of a simple brick costume. Take a cardboard box, cut out some body holes, stick some small cups on the front, paint the (...) (25 years ago, 10-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)
