Re: Does anyone accually like 4561?

(...) Minifig accessories are okay, because they are small (and therefore cheap). But the best minifig accessories are the sort-of generic space-tools, specifically (in generally descending order of my preference): (6 URLs) These pieces can be (...)   Re: new Millennium Falcon

(...) I disagree. I think it's definitely NOT Lego. If it is made of Lego, it's built to a scale that would preclude it from being a set- there's way too much detail on it. As much as I would like to beleive that this is an early look at a (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: !!! Laser attachments for Mindstorms !!!

(...) Pulsing the laser would be implemented with the "motor speed control". (...) How about just using it with mirror(s) and the light sensor as a tripwire? (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Mast options

I think I already know the answer to these questions, but I'm hoping I'm wrong: It seems like the pirate-ship masts go together only one way: base-mast, octagonal "crow's nest" platform, then the upper-mast. Is there any other useful way to put (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: KB KIDS.com 20% Off sale (and 50% clearance items, more importantly)

Since its the last day for the Flamingo world Coupon on KBKids ((URL) I decided to pick up a few sets. Had to do some dancing around thier system to get the best deals but i managed to get 5 outback airstrips (last in the stock acording to the site) (...)   Re: Lego Article (Re: I'm famous (or infamous))

(...) Yep. (...) Could be. When I'm in the store, I'm looking at the LEGO, not the other shoppers. (...) That should be interesting. Let us know, please! (...) :) Steve (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

  Personal Pirates Trivia

Quick question: what is the longest ship you've built using the Pirates hull pieces? I've only got just a bit of Pirates stuff, I'm working on lengthening my RBR with two extra hull sections (for a total of 4 mid-sections, plus the bow and stern). (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Great ideas

(...) Those were the good old days. A lego was a lego head, and they'd work anywhere. No stupid snarly faces, or snaggle-tooths, or constipated star heroes. Just uniform plastic happiness. :) Steve (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Clipping / CCW / CW / INVERT

(...) No, when I look at the images I see real alpha-blended surfaces :) I've tried to turn backface culling in the transparent parts and they looked very ugly, it's better to draw everything in those cases. (...) Just a note to correct the (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
