Re: Track parts naming scheme survey

Manfred: (...) Why is it labeled "4.5V"? It works quite fine for 12V trains too (just to make sure we get a long discussion :-). (...) Yes. We might want to remember the 12V power tracks too. (...) Actually I distinguish between "unpowered", "12V", (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: new Millennium Falcon

It does not appear to be made from LEGO elements, I can't tell for sure. Ugh, we need a source inside TLG! :) Scott S. (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 6289 : RBR

(...) That's a tough one. It has recently been relatively available, but retail stocks are probably depleted (DYA doesn't have them any more for example), so I would expect the price to start rising. Good candidate for an auction if you are selling. (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.auction, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: new Millennium Falcon

(...) I was kind of wondering that myself...my first thought was that it wasn't a LEGO MF, but I can't quite pin down why. If it *is* LEGO, it looks like they did an excellent job of getting the shape right...especially on the escape pods and (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  Freezing

Hi Has anyone experienced freezes where the entire system is halted, and only HW reset will bring it up again? I used an old PCI card before but it is still a problem after buying a Creative TNT2 Ultra 32MB AGP. The board is an ASUS P5A with an AMD (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.games.lego.racers)

  Re: Dacta castle

(...) No. The one on the BSB is a 1x4x2, and the two side lobes come up almost to the 2 brick height. This piece has the same curvature as the 2x4 bricks with rounded end. The curvature should also match the 2x4 curved top bricks and the 2x2 curved (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)

Re: KB KIDS.com 20% Off sale (and 50% clearance items, more importantly)

(...) Just got my 20 yesterday. I think that's about the quickest I've ever got something I ordered by mail using something other than over night shipping. Of course they ship from Roanoke VA which is about a 3hr drive from Raleigh. What's funny is (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Blue Hopper Car Mania...

(...) In some ways it would be nice if Busy Bee discovered the internet... They probably should have sold the 4536s for a bit of a premium and captured some of the proffit, since after all, they're the ones who managed to dig them up. Of course (...)   Track parts naming scheme survey

Hello all We have another fine naming issue on our hand, which is always good for a lively discussion tread :-) The issue is about the parts from the group "Train Track 4.5V". I believe two different types are known here: 1- the oldest "Blue" type (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: CW/CCW, vertex sequence, co-planar, convex

Jacob Sparre Andersen wrote in message ... (...) Certified primitives are harmless when used by old uncertified parts, so there's no need to create special certified versions. And in stead of fixing parts to reference the new names, you might just (...) (25 years ago, 8-Oct-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
