  Re: Lugnet Newsgroups Anniversary!

Congratulations Todd and Suz! I believe LUGNET is the single most important resource for any Lego enthusiast. (with the possible exception of Lego bricks themselves, although this is debatable because of ldraw and similar Lego cad tools). It's not (...)   Re: I hate professor pith helmet

(...) Lego has been poor at giving us the masses of common people needed to offset the special ones. I have 20 Witch figures. 15 Cap'n Redbeards. You can only mix and match so much. I've taken to buying heads, torsos, and other bits outside my usual (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: 4x2ReVu: 4950 Loader Dozer

I bought this set recently too and I liked it better than I expected. Not having seen the aqua-set with the same loading scoop mechanism it was new to me and I think it works well, especially for younger kids. The canopy hinges on mine did not pop (...)   Tower Building

(...) Oops, I was a bit confusing there. I meant what you said originally. ie 3 types of section: base, mid and top. There can of course be lots of mids. I will shut up now! I meant it was simpler than my less specific scheme which would allow a (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Favorite Adventurers vehicles (Re: 4x2ReVu: 5909)

(...) 'Interesting' may have been a bad word-choice. I *do* like the Amazon sets. Well, the blimp is kinda goofy. Comparing Amazon to Egyptian, the Amazon sets have a higher level of juniorization, the buildings are less inspired, and the (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) YES! I CAN'T STAND HAVING SO MANY JOHNNY THUNDERS! I *wouldn't* mind if his torso was a little more standard, since it could be used in a lot of places, but he's got a pistol right there! And I don't want Castle peasants or Town shoppers or (...) (25 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
