Embedding plates, that´s a good idea. For bases etc, I thoguht that I´d build the model on it´s own baseplate, then just put it on the display, like it´s done in the catalogues. I don´t know if it really is necessary to embed plates, if you can make (...) (27 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Greetings, Tobias... You might also think about -embedding- smaller plates here and there (inside craters or rills, for example) to enable you to achieve a more solid footing for your models. I've thought about this myself, both for space (...) (27 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

I just got this idea that I´ll try soon. By using papier-mache, some glue and sand, you could build a planet plate to play and display your space models on. This would be especially cool with classic space. You form the landscape, spread glue on it, (...) (27 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.build)

The 2x2x2 white "skirt" slopes in the Space Port set are not preprinted, the printing is a sticker. There is a fire set which has them in red, but I don't know which it is. I have 8 of these in white and 8 in black (undecorated, not witch skirts) (...) (27 years ago, 6-Oct-99, to lugnet.castle)
