  Surprising pricing

Hiya Today I was looking at someone's Freemans (autumn / winter 99) mail order catalogue. They have a small selection of Lego sets - as is usual with these types of catalogue, the prices are grossly overinflated. Here are the sets they have : Gungan (...)   Re: LEGO for Life Sweepstakes

(...) Heck, I could enter (any alphanumeric combiniation)@shades...-night.com and it would be a valid e-mail address. Our domain is currently set up that way to avoid mis-directed mail (typos, etc) James (URL) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

RE: Could somebody use this program?

(...) I think Ralph has good advice. I personally wouldn't use a graphical block building programming interface. I hate the RCX Code software that comes with the RIS. I've been using NQC under Windows NT and have been very pleased with it. A better (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yeah no kidding. We're running qmail on our mail server, so mattdm-[anything]@mattdm.org is a valid e-mail address. I could legally enter a very large number of times. (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: To sell or to auction, that is the question.

(...) Any 'sale starting now' announcement is going to be "unfair" to the people who don't see it right away. If you want to give everyone equal opportunity to react, then use one of: an auction (with a reasonable time frame), a 'best offer by' (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.theory)

  WTB: Train Sets

Hi everyone, If anyone has any extra train sets they'd like to sell, please contact me. I'm mostly interested in the 9v train sets, but if you have anything (4.5v or 12v) available, let me know. I was hoping to find some sets that someone didn't (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Could somebody use this program?

(...) I'd second that, except maybe reversing the order. I'd definitely use a Linux version. (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
