Hi I've just acquired some of the parts for a set apparently numbered 9700, including an instruction sheet that gives a useful illustrated inventory of the contents (the illustration of the box shows a number of "TC-0"). These also show a series of (...) (25 years ago, 5-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Um, it's WORSE than the McD sets. It's not a limited time set, and the starting bid was 400% markup, and if the guy used the buy-5-save-$4.50 deal in the S@H catalogs, it was a 600% markup. (...) Hmm. Curiousity. What about e-mailing a bidder after the auction is over? What if you wait until the auction is over, and then provide neutral feedback?
