  Re: Lego at Gerf.Org

(...) As a consumer, I really appreciate that when I form a host name out of a company name, 9 times out of 10, I get that companies web site. Imagine if instead, 9 times out of 10 you got a competitor's site? What if lego.com pointed to a porno (...) (27 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Space Station/Base Names (was Re: Space stations?)

(...) Hmm. Would we have to mark it as mobile? ;-) So what's the nature of Moonbase LD-A? Before we decide that, we should decide on the background environment, so we'll know what's appropriate and inappropriate. I'll take that to another thread, (...) (27 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

(...) In 1980 (I was ten), my pal Kurt had every space set that had come out (in the states, anyway), and had them all set up in his room. I vowed that someday I would have more than him! That was the original reason I started collecting, and why I (...) (27 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: Expo Gallery up at The Construction Site website

(...) I'm almost afraid to admit that my model is the icon for the History section, since it is remarkably similar to entries by an 8-year-old and a 9.5-year-old. (27 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  9.6V POWER AND 9V MOTORS

Question? The 9.6v battery in the HB is ideal for running 9v motors, correct? So wouldn't it be true that the motors of an R/C car which also has a 9.6v battery be 9v??? How do you go about finding the voltage and current drawn in a DC motor??? (...) (27 years ago, 29-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
