Re: Well this gives a new meaning to Spam...

I would be willing to spend upwards of $10 in stamps to send them a bunch of spam junk snail mail, since they were kind enough to give an actual street address! Anybody got any good ideas on a letter/sales pitch we could mail? I was thinking (...) (27 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Toy Aid for children affected from Earthquake in Turkey

Yes, thanks Julie! Now I guess it's time to discuss what to do with the leftover money. Turkey's need is desperate, but in the interim there have been a number of other disasters! I've just had a spam mail - from a company that sends out spam mail - asking me if I want any mailings sent out! It appears that for the modest sum of $750 I can have half a million email addresses bombarded. So come on guys - ideas - what - if (...) (27 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Netherlands verses Holland - Which is when?

Hi Sanjay, Everyone is right they all use thee same grounds to tell you it. But Im to blame I think because I use them all the time, Holland is more short then the Netherlands and on the other hand I dont like the The in Netherlands. An translation (...) (...) I'd be mighty impressed, too, if you could do this automatically. For solid polyhedra, it's not too difficult as you can assume that the origin of the solid is within the material, but most Lego parts are re-entrent (ie. partly hollow), so (...) (27 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
