  Re: Space stations?

(...) (As you might notice from above, I love docking ports ;-) (...) From the photo I couldn't tell what that was near the bottom, so I'm glad you told me it was an Allied Avenger. How does it attach: studs, clamp, hook, magnet, pin? Is there a (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

LEGO Stereogram (see it in 3D!)

I was messing around with my digital camera this evening and produced a somewhat sucessful sterogram (I think that's what it's called). It's a 3D image of a catapault. To see it go to: (URL) cross your eyes. Let me know if you'd like to see more -- (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

(...) So, you would recommend it for young children? (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Concerning John DiRienzo

(...) John's a good guy. He's completely trustworthy. And like many of us, he has a real life that sometimes intrudes on our shared interest of small blocks of plastic. (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lets get a datsville castle going

(...) I had a problem when I set my swap file to start at 1GB under NT4, even though I told it to grow to 1.5GB. So I set it to 2GB and everything worked fine. Dunno what res and such you render at - I did it at 1280x1024 no AA and it 2 hours and 3 (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.cad)

  Shell NZ Promo

I got a reply to my email to Shell NZ Customer Service regarding the Shell sets which have hit the Netherlands. "...Yes, we will be promoting a new LEGO offer at Shell in the next few months. The product is exclusive to Shell internationally and (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: A use for TownJr

(...) I have to admit I've actually read that on set boxes too. Welcome to the world of the parent. Thanks for stopping by. (...) Absolutely. Why wouldn't it be? Theoretically, you could give your child anything, (for an absurd example, a martial (...) (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Space stations?

(...) Yes, you can see the back of a 6887 sticking out of the bottom section between the yellow wing on the right and the red wing. Also the Technic shuttle docks under the wing with the payload bay doors open. (25 years ago, 27-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Space stations?

(...) Yes, very interesting creations! In dark grey, it would vaguely reminds me of Deep Space 9. Does your station have docking ports and/or can it be expandable? Any deckplans to show internal arrangement? Not that it *must* have those things, but (...) (25 years ago, 26-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: Space Station/Base Names (was Re: Space stations?)

(...) I'd think of Base to be something purely military/government. Outpost and Station are either mixed or all civilian -- the difference being that an Outpost would be more on the frontier. (25 years ago, 26-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

  Re: A use for TownJr

(...) Sure, but not all children are the same. If your child understands not to put them in his/her mouth, and you're there to supervise, it's probably okay to disregard the warning. (25 years ago, 26-Sep-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: How To Add A Rotation Sensor and A Touch Sensor On the Same Input?

(...) Yeah, as I said, the light-sensor/touch-sensor combo works well because of the types of values the sensor returns. The rotation sensor works differently, and is difficult to combine with something else. (25 years ago, 26-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Space Station/Base Names (was Re: Space stations?)

(...) fun. (...) After reading your post again Steve, it seems I ignored it. And I ignored Jonathan too. My apologies! Please forgive me. I like your ideas now that I've read them again. And they can both work together. Steve, to nitpick here, (...) (25 years ago, 26-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)
