At a local Zany Brainy, they have a display of a number of set 8482, "Technic Cybermaster". A sign says "a Zany Brainy exclusive", and they're going for $230. This set has me a bit puzzled, but I'm not sure I want to spend $230 to answer my (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.technic)

Yea, I've seen this puppy in person. (Both the real MAX train and Steve's model.) It is really well done. It looks incredible. The narrow windows match the doors of the real MAX quite well. The overall look of the model really captures the feel of (...) (27 years ago, 24-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)
