  493 Instructions/Catalog Different?

I was rebuilding a 493 Space Command Center I thought was in a collection I bought when I noticed that the catalog picture (on LUGNET) and directions (on Brickshelf) are slightly different. (URL) catalog picture uses a crater baseplate, whereas the (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.space)

Re: Fixed width web pages? (Was: Who here in Legoland has a Cable modem?)

(...) Oh, I agree, basically. But on the other hand, the web has turned into something other than what its original designers envisioned. Presentation _is_ important, and it's important in HTML, not just in proprietary Adobe formats. Even the (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.publish)

  Space #497 instructions, anyone?

Hi: Just found a bunch of classic space parts, and included is the "LL 928" printed part, and what seems to be an almost complete #497. Does anyone have the instructions scanned? Brickshelf.com doesn't have them yet. I would be willing to help in (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: TRU Norwich opening- missed opportunity?

(...) TRU normally sell trains, but not a large stock. I couldn't imagine TRU giving anything away free! Now TRU is open the smaller toys shops may now close.   Re: Did you see this?!

That's a very sought after set, so the price is always up there.. I'm still trying to get one myself, though can't bring myself to spend that kind of money... I keep thinking I'd offer my extra blue hopper for one... though not sure I want to give (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Ferrari F50 Barchetta

(...) 2x2's (...) Actually the problem therein is not the actual wheels, it's the centering of the individual files. For example, the 4474 plain space cockpit has to be moved 4 spaces downward and 6 spaces inward to connect to the 4315 1x4 hinge (...) (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Arrr, first message

I had to post it, because it's the first message in .pirates--this is NOT an invitation to degenerate into shameless pirate-speak. Arrrr. LFB PS: Does anyone have a full platoon of Imperial Guards? (27 years ago, 18-Sep-99, to lugnet.pirates)
