Re: new Windows-based Lego CAD program

Thanks! BTW, I have a model of Tux I've been saving for a Linux release (Converted to LDRAW type-3 lines from a DXF file). -gyug (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Six Wide Hummer model

(...) Pretty nifty. Is there a way to access the instructions, or am I actually gonna' have to think for myself? :) Brian (bbq) Sauls (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

  Re: Six Wide Hummer model

(...) The last Town JR construction set (6565) had a six-wide railing used as the sides of one of the cheesy (did I say that?) trucks. I didn't see it in the LDraw parts list, but I thought I saw it on one of the other cad programs. Of course, I (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

Re: proud of myself (+ some questions)

(...) A differential can be used to add two motors together. One motor on each axle, then let the "shell" of the differential power the drivetrain (which of course has its own differential). (...)   Re: Power supply

(...) Paul, Thats exactly what I did for my old Nova Township layout. I used an MRC Tech II powerpack instead of the LEGO one. I didn't feel that the LEGO power pack had a slow enough low speed. I soldered my wires directly to the track, but I'm (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

  FA: Garage Doors and Compartments

I have four garage style doors with "runner/channel" elements and 12 compartments that I am going to auction off. The garage doors are in good condition with some storage/usage wear, they still have most of their shine left to them compared to many (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: new Windows-based Lego CAD program

(...) Looks like a nice description! Can't wait to see it come out and get a chance to try it out :) Chances are, cool stuff like this probably will get a writeup on ldraw.org like MLCad did. Keep it up! :) -Tim <>< (URL) timcourtne ICQ: 23951114 (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Try Patrick Delahanty's Regional Shopping Guide - (URL) - I believe there is a map of the US with clickable regions, you might wanna ask him if you can use the midwest, or where he got the graphic (...)   Re: proud of myself (+ some questions)

(...) Good idea. Unfortunately, I don't have one of those, and am a lot more likely to get a second roation sensor. :) How bulky of a set up would that be? It's a challenge to keep the robot compact. (And necessary, since it's hard enough for this (...) (25 years ago, 17-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  GMLUG.ORG is up!!

(URL) is up and running (sort of). I have put together a bunch of basic information, enough to get the site up and going. It still needs work and I'll listen to any and all comments/complaints/whatever. Paul ps. Anybody know of a good place for (...)
