Re: NEWS FLASH--LEGO store in Ontario!

(...) Good to hear that a Lego store is finally gonna be somewhat local (At least within driving distance). Too bad it's located in Toronto though. I'm not a big fan of T.O. and try to avoid going there if I can help it. I'm surprised they wouldn't (...) (14 years ago, 25-Nov-10, to lugnet.org.ca.obb, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

Re: LEGO Group and Disney Consumer Products Announce Building Sets Inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean

(...) True, but similar comments could be made of any theme. Trains are trains are trains, Castles are castles are castles. Yet for a fan of a theme, a greater number of models of varying price-points is always welcome. The truth is, how a tall ship (...)   Re: 2010 Toronto Christmas Train Show wrap-up

(...) Jeff vW and I agreed that bigger layouts =! better layouts sometimes. We did a show a few years back that took basically 2 days just to set up. A 7.5 x 10 foot layout is just about perfect (at least for now)--enough to not look too crowded yet (...) (14 years ago, 23-Nov-10, to lugnet.org.ca.obb, FTX)

  Re: Basic Train Elements

(...) There used to be a polybag of train elements, (URL) here>, it had an MSRP of about $15.   Re: Externally Powered Monorail running on LDCC

(...) Thanks! I didn't get LDCCset up at the show--I lost the RCX firmware. Derek brought in a USB tower but Sunday was pretty busy so I let the monorails run off a regular train controller for the day. I'll probably get the layout LDCC'ed for the (...)
