  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) I was looking for that technique but didn't find it. For some reason I thought it was Railton but of course that would be you ;) Tim (14 years ago, 8-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) Some great ideas in that BS gallery, Tim - thanks. Don (14 years ago, 7-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) Don't forget the tenth offset ;) (URL) And there was also a good ressource on BrickWiki about offsets (but BrickWiki.org gives a white page :/ ) Erik (14 years ago, 7-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

--snip-- (...) I've had these on BS for about 6 years and I was far from the first to do it. (URL) Not sure if there's any quarter plate steps (URL) in here> but there's certainly the makings of 1/3rd plates. Tim (14 years ago, 7-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) Well for something so trivial I sure have a lot of people e-mailing me asking how I made them. And nobody who's telling me it's a simple thing has offered a technique of their own, yet. So let's see some quarter steps! (14 years ago, 7-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) Half steps are fairly trivial... try quarter steps. They're possible ;) Tim (14 years ago, 6-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) I have seen the half-plate inset used on trains and vehicles, too, but it was a challenge to turn that into an ongoing series of half-steps that could be extended indefinitely. Don (14 years ago, 6-Aug-10, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Half-Plate-High Steps

(...) I have probably seen it somewhere else (train doors?), as I solved it immediately. But it's still fun with LEGO puzzles! (14 years ago, 6-Aug-10, to lugnet.build)

  Half-Plate-High Steps

I'm working on the file for this in bricksmith, but thought I'd post a teaser for anyone else who'd like to try this building puzzler: create a set of stairs with risers one half plate in height. Here's an example: (URL) This is the basic unit of (...) (14 years ago, 6-Aug-10, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: BFC problems, model or converter?

Lego prices in the US vs. Europe

I always found it fascinating to see that a Lego set was cheaper in the US than in Denmark, for instance. That did not seem right. This was simply by comparing prices in S@H, easily done by switching the country flag. It may start making sense if we (...) (14 years ago, 5-Aug-10, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.market.shopping)
