I have probably seen it somewhere else (train doors?), as I solved it
immediately. But it's still fun with LEGO puzzles!

| (...) I have seen the half-plate inset used on trains and vehicles, too, but it was a challenge to turn that into an ongoing series of half-steps that could be extended indefinitely. Don (14 years ago, 6-Aug-10, to lugnet.build)
