  Re: Taking shortcuts

(...) There is no correct answer to this, just a lot of personal opinions and shades of gray. The LSC did ratify additional restrictions on library parts which mentions this - see (URL) (14 years ago, 20-Jul-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Taking shortcuts

As I've recently started creating parts I've been taking a closer look at how other parts have been made. I've noticed that sometimes there are overlaps that keep the file smaller. My question is: what is more important; having 'correct' parts or (...) (14 years ago, 20-Jul-10, to lugnet.cad)

Matheson Crowley has never known the meaning of failure. As the only existing offspring of a succubus and a sithe sorcerer (or so he's been told his entire life) he never once failed at reaching beyond his grasp with successful results. But today (...) For quite a while I've wanted to build an smaller-scale battlesuit/mech, and I've finally come up with something. I can't actually put a minifig inside, due to the constraints of the shoulder and hip joints, but I still kind of like it. I present (...) Greetings! This ship has already been briefly glimpsed here, but now thanks to slightly improved photography techniques AND available time, I've been able to construct a full page of photos for my second most recent MOC! (URL) Enjoy! Dave S. (14 years ago, 19-Jul-10, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Toy Story Train: Life Imitating Art, or Not?

(...) No. That is, I don't think so. The train features in a "make believe" scene at the start of the movie, and the version we see at this time looks VERY different from the LEGO set. Not only is there a coal car, but there are at least three (...) (14 years ago, 18-Jul-10, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
