  Re: BTW, Dither What Colors...?

(...) Also I am thinking that we have to use the original color values for the color 0 - 15 to build the blended colors. Otherwise we get other colors. This range should be known by every LDraw related application.and only overwritten by entries (...) (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

--SNIP-- (...) Good thinking. Since the old colours were derived from the EGA colour palette I reckon the dithers would have to be derived from it too. Otherwise you could end up with some very different blends. I like your signature ;) Tim (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Where you all at?

(...) SPEAKING of TECHNIC... I noticed yesterday (thanks to your blog post on LEGO.com, actually, Eric), the The LEGO Group has stopped claiming TECHNIC as a trademark. Further, they're not insistent on fully capitalizing it any longer (I first saw (...) (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) I do most of my chatting at (URL) Eurobricks> which has a dedicated (URL) Technic> forum. There is a pretty good amount of posting and quite a few Technic fans post there, including myself. blakbird (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Need batteries for part no 55206 - Electric Light & Sound Brick 2 x 4 x 2 with Revving Motor Sound

Acquired a used 4893 Revvin' Riders set, but the batteries in the sound brick are missing (I'm guessing, they died, and a previous owner removed them, but never got around to replacing them). What type batteries does it need? Thanks in advance! (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Where you all at?

(...) TBs is not only a great source for information but the post comments are almost a forum by themselves. It's just a bit harder to stay up to date with everything because so far I haven't found a way of subscribing to comments without making one (...) (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Where you all at?

(...) :) I'm thinking to add a discussion forum to TechnicBRICKs for too long!... :( But actually hardly have the time to post what I'd like and have in queue, so a forum is just another item in the queue, as it would mean a considerable time (...) (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Flex-system names

(...) To clarify this, the 5118 available in 1991 had the older cable links. 5118 bought in 1995 had the new version of the links (check the 1991 and 1995 service pack scans on Peeron). I should fix the LUGNET database. <sigh> -- joshuaD (15 years ago, 12-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad)
