Re: The Scout brick: smart or dumb? (was: Robotics Discovery Set)

Thanks for the corrections. It definitely looks like they have the majority of "child-type" [1] robot projects pretty well covered, including (almost?) all of the obvious things you would use the sensors for. - Robert Munafo (URL) LEGO: TC+++(8480) (...)   Re: Life-size SW replica

I have two worries about this. The first is: are they going to glue it together like they did Yoda? All those macoroni bricks glued together would be a heartbreaker. The second worry would be a walletbreaker. Tax liablity would be over 4,000.00, (...) (25 years ago, 8-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  show-me training

The recent discussion about the Scout got me to thinking of a type of robot programming that would be really cool, really simple and intuitive, and really easy to implement. I'm not sure what to call it, but I'm sure someone's probably thought of it (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Speaking of McD, when does promotion start?

I was just looking at the catalog and going to mention it. Lots of green slopes, 2x3. Pink looks to be plates, but that's ok, and the blues look like they're purple. I can hope. :) Looks like lots of happy meals in the near future. Ice (...) (25 years ago, 8-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Toy Aid for children affected from Earthquake in Turkey

I would be more than happy to go to K-mart which is having a buy one at full price get second at 50%, and then pack up the boxes. I have several (4 pretty close and another 4 a bit farther) K-marts by me. I have room on a cc. I've got some boxes in (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Jonathan, (...) in there, but the information is slightly out of date; Bot-Kit now works with the free version of Dolphin Smalltalk so it's no longer necessary to fork out $30. Regards, Andy Bower --- Visit the Lego-Robotics Wiki Web (URL) (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)

This part is made with bmp2dat. On both of my parts, the 'S' and the 'T' are not at all in line. I don't know, it looks really wierd.
