All- Having taken MOCs as large as whole LTC layouts from LA to BrickFests in DC and LA to PDX, I have some experience in the matter. I made a recent discovery that may interest some of you. Bravo! Thank you very much for the great improvement! Although not specifically listed, it fixed several bugs the older versions had for me. (...) This minifig is only a terrorist if someone uses it as such. I think someone's imagination went a little overboard. (...) I believe that MLCad scans all files in unofficial directories at startup. So having a whole bunch of parts in unofficial directories slows down startup, but allows the directories to be used without having to rescan for parts every time a new (...) (16 years ago, 5-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Part names have a maximum length of 64 characters. Some rare parts run up against this limit. Consequently, I don't think adding "Official" to official part names is a viable solution. (To be honest, it would also by really annoying to see (...) (16 years ago, 5-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad)
