Friends keep telling me that I should go back to posting my MOCs here again, so I'll give it a shot. I built this thing for a display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum back in the spring of 2006. It kept getting damaged in transit to (...) While checking various stores, I happened into a Big Lots this evening. They had one end-cap full of Bionicle. Conan and Chuck (owners of the GMLTC) have been doing it since the 80's. They started out using 12v trains (with modified transformers to run on US current) and the switched to 9v when they became available. I'll get more details and some pictures (...) (16 years ago, 18-Oct-08, to lugnet.trains)
