  Re: Ghost

(...) Bob, It was constructed with RTV Silicon Molds. Took a while to design the molds to keep all the interior spaces and only have 2 part molds for each part, but that was my goal. I really undertook the project to help teach myself a bit more (...) (16 years ago, 22-Jul-08, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

Re: Worm gear... whence the length?

(...) Thanks Mark - those are nice designs. In my case I needed the precision, but I also needed a very compact implementation *and* it had to mount to an NXT motor: (URL) pretty happy with the design, but the slop really needed to be compensated (...)   Re: Ghost

(...) This is really cool! The trans fig can also be used for Tron figs, if underlit...or if they were compatible with LEGO minifig parts, there could be a Star Trek transporter effect done with a blinky light. Joe (16 years ago, 22-Jul-08, to lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  58231.DAT Slope 33 3 x 6 is wrong type

Hi, Again while going through LGEO, i discovered 58231.DAT to be Slope 33 3 x 6, old version (as 3939), only 58181.DAT is new version without inner walls. All real parts 58181 I own have numbers 58181 and 58231 molded, so I think 58231.DAT should (...) (16 years ago, 21-Jul-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Worm gear... whence the length?

(...) That would make sense, but for the fact that the worm gear is ten years older than the gearbox that you cited. The only reason that the worm gear had to be made a tiny bit less than 2 studs long was so that when you put it between two TECHNIC (...) (...) From what I took from this post: (URL), MOCs should not be placed in the "lugnet.announce" group, but just in the "lugnet.announce.moc" group like you did.   Re: How to hide wires for Train Layout

  Re: NXT-G print to text?

(...) Nice defense! I'm sure the NI engineers have anticipated the complexities you've mentioned. Hence, no scary print-to-text. However, I'm not asking for anything so ambitious. I hold that a print-to-text within the context of plain NXT-G (no (...) (16 years ago, 21-Jul-08, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)
