  Re: LDCC control from PC

(...) Here is a video of the test setup, consisting of a shunter with onboard uncoupling system, an underground, and the barriers... a total of 4 DCC decoders. I tried to film the layout together with the screen - sorry about the crappy quality, but (...) (17 years ago, 24-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Which CAD program recommended for Mac??

(...) Well, I wouldn't really call myself a Mac expert OR a QT expert, but I'm at least familiar with both. I did the initial port of LDView to QT years ago, but that's now maintained by Peter Bartfai. However, I do get into the QT code enough to (...) (17 years ago, 24-Feb-08, to lugnet.cad)

Swap Model Team for Star Wars Lego

Hello We have a few vintage Model Team sets that we would like to work out a trade for a Star Wars Millenium Falcon & minifigures.   Uses for mirrored LEGO (Was: Which glue?)

(...) Hmm, I like both of those, but my idea is/was closer to the first. Not to cast a light, but to reflect an image: have a camera rigidly mounted (so the heavy stuff doesn't need to move), with a rotating mirror at 45° in front of it on a (...) (17 years ago, 24-Feb-08, to lugnet.parts.mod)

  4-6-0 Olton Hall (5972)

My son was given the Hogwarts Lego train a few years ago which I added the 9 volt wheels to. I built up some extra coaches and it has done hundreds of laps around my layouts. I even made some movies featuring it in 2006 (URL) 2005 (URL) & 2007 (URL) (...) (17 years ago, 24-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Way cool! I'm looking forward to the more to come! I especially like the middle one - very spindly/spiderly looking. Not something you would want to come across one night, either unaware or not! -Matt :) (17 years ago, 24-Feb-08, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Urban Pool Hall

  Re: Urban Pool Hall

(...) Nice work! Very funky, too. ;) The 'weathered wall look' would be great in the urban landscape, or for (western) adobe buildings, or for (dare I say it) Post-Apoc dioramas. How about posting some pictures (or even better a video) of your layout in operation under the control of your program. Your idea looks very interesting. (17 years ago, 23-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
