Re: Concertina wagon... and a whole lot of SNOT

(...) Thanks (...) The other Tim has answered that better than I could. (...) It's a trick Samarth Moray showed me which he thought was invented by Ross or John Neal. You hold the wheel in between two rows of two 1x2 plate with rail (Part (URL) (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Concertina wagon... and a whole lot of SNOT

(...) This is the other Tim ;-) The concertina wagon has a solid roof/side in sections that slide inside one another, hence slight differences in size that Tim had worked so hard to reproduce. (...) Thanks, James! I didn't know Irfanview could do that! I use it ALL the time! Guess I'll have to dive into its sub-menus some more! Dave S. (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Outromundo: W1 - Explorer

(...) Thanks for the comments, Andreas. The legs aren't totally poseable. The vehicle is to heavy and the legs turn around easily :( Maybe I'll try another solution later :) Luís Baixinho (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Concertina wagon... and a whole lot of SNOT

(...) Like Chris, I too noticed that cool hopper while admiring the lovely SNOT-li-ness of your concertina wagon. (btw, what is a concertina wagon?) Tim, I've been meaning to ask you, since I've noticed it before, how do you do your trucks with the (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim)

  Re: Outromundo: W1 - Explorer

(...) Thanks, Tim You're welcome ;) (...) I didn't fully understand what you mean by 'hips' (my english isn't perfect :) ). But if you are talking about the legs, I'm also unhappy with the solution. Maybe later I would do a new version, more stable (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Windows Vista Mindstorms Compatibility

Great! But now I've run into another problem. My USB tower is not detected. It is installed, I can see it under the Control Panel, but none of the programs can find it. I've tried plugging it into different USB ports, I've tried the new setup (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.robotics)

  settings

I am sure there must be an obvious link on the LUGNET front page that leads to where one can change one's settings, but I just don't see it. Could someone be kind enough to point it to me? Thanks John (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Re: Outromundo: W1 - Explorer

Cool... Very much of steampunk. And it looks like, that it is poseable and the legs can have different positions. I like that (if there is a certain amount of functionality in a model (like a steering or still working wheels)). And good to see the (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Pallet Truck

(2 URLs) Youtube link > (URL) Brickshelf Link> (URL) MocPages Link> I've used this contraption often enough.   Re: Outromundo: W1 - Explorer

(...) Very cool MOC in an interesting genre. I particularly love the way you did the side window and know I'll be stealing that technique sometime. The one bit I'm not entirely keen on is under the 'hips'. It feels to me that something more (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)
