(...) I very strongly support allowing the inclusion of whitespace in LDraw filenames, provided the first character is not whitespace. Bricksmith has always allowed users to do this. RCX IR does not require direct line of sight. All sorts of reflections will work. Especially if you're in a "smallish" (bedroom, home office) room. The RCX firmware always has the IR turned off. "Wait for mail" and "send mail" is just a higher (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

IR communication is no where near the reliability like a tcp/ip. You can easily lose a message ... so program must be either extremely simple one way communication. April 1 Sunday Corrections sent to inv@peeron again are not getting posted. It has been a bit since they did a few. And again I am finding a lot of mistakes in the inventories. I still stick by the 95% figure. By posting changes needed or at least (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)
