A few updates: "Deadwood"-style buildings & Tiki stuff!

Hey all, Haven't updated my website in so long I'm almost ashamed to say! Anyway, since the Western ng is so quiet (my post was the first in two months!) I thought that I would post here to give a wider audience the opportunity to peruse a webpage (...) (19 years ago, 28-Mar-07, to lugnet.announce)

  Re: #6071 Forestmen's Crossing: pictures!

(...) Hey Nathan, You don't have to be jealous! In fact, you can own this lovely little time capsule. See the main page on my website. Dave S. (who hopes this post doesn't consitute a major or even minor breach of protocol!) (19 years ago, 28-Mar-07, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: 10182 Cafe Corner... short reveiw and modified

(...) Thank you. And me too, that’s why I added the awning. It was a pain in the butt to do though as the geometry in that area is tight. I ended up using headlight bricks with 1x2 brick hinges snotted to make it work. Plate hinges just wouldn't (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: 10183 instructions in PDF please?

(...) While LDD 2 does have a HTML export, it has a couple of drawbacks: It produces fairly low-res images The images are all from the same viewpoint (wherever you're viewing from in LDD when you export I think) The images are clipped if the (...)   Re: Sea Monkey Ruins

(...) Cute, nice use of rare colors, too. (...) Evil is relative. Vivasecting and enslaving Sea Monkeys is necassary for the greater good, right? I'm sure they're looking out for our best interests. (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.aquazone, FTX)

Re: The LEGO Group Selects NetDevil to Create Branded MMOG

(...) Actually, if I remember correctly, Magic: The Gathering online lets you convert in-game cards into real physical cards (under drastic conditions, as far as I remember). Maybe it doesn't quite qualify as MMOG, though. (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)

Re: Getting rif off the 8.3 nomenclature???

(...) Hi Willy, Nice explanation about naming. The issue of 8.3 nomenclature falls under the purvue of the Standards Committee. Before they can remove that constraint, they will have to work with the community of tool developers to understand the (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Peeron inventory

3225-1: Classic Train ( Now is is a strange one in that Dan and Jennifer inventoried from a MISB. Usually their inventories are more correct than this one.) missing is part 2456 yellow brick 2x6/1 (page 5#13) missing is part 3023 red plate 1x2/5 (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

Re: 30 NEW Train Sets! -- Or Individual Hobby Train Models Pricing

(...) I really like your cement wagon. In fact, I think it would make a great starting point for a model of the limestone slurry car pictured below; (URL) I've been wanting to model it for some time but I needed to see how you managed to offset each (...)   Re: BrickFest 07 Draft

(...) Not sure if Bob saw this, so I'll take a shot... generally we'll set lots by number of unique pieces in the set. In the event of a lot being overly large and/or coveted, it's sometimes split by common agreement. For example, when GPLR did the (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: 8889 Technic Truck

(...) The forklift I posted is not my design. "TT" from brickshelf did that. It was just to give you ideas, and is closer to 1/16th scale. Maybe you can find his email and get some ideas from him. My only idea is to use Bimba pneumatics. (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Moscow in the 80s - diorama

(...) Thanks (...) Hmmm... I'll excuse myself on that one since there are a few police in the scene ;) (not really visible in any of the current shots) Tim (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: sorry for the double post.

Hello, sorry for the double post. I do not understand how this is going? This thread can delete because that: (URL) the right thread. Regards Dan (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Heavy Water Ruins

While I remember the original fondly, and enjoyed the update, it is the addition of the ruins that really grabs my attention. It is so well done! God Bless, Nathan (URL) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Get Pixel Value Plotter

(...) Work is coming along swimmingly. I never thought I would sit out on the back deck late at night pinching myself after a good nights work. To analyses images simply is the painter’s way and now I’m doing it in the computer. I have devised a way (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Re: Does anyone have an inventory of set 9355?

Re: 30 NEW Train Sets! -- Or Individual Hobby Train Models Pricing

(...) I had one model that was not approved for VIOLATION OF OTHER TRADEMARKS. It was a Coca-Cola reefer so the reason it was turned down was pretty obvious. I found out that it was refused when I logged in on the LEGO site with my user name. When (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains)
