  Unpacking brickfest models

I've finally found the time to unpack some brickfest '06 mocs and I wanted to show them off. The Stag is a space creature that is mostly composed of martian legs (URL) The Mechanized Artillery Gun mark IV is the fourth version of this chassis this (...)   Re: So I got this NXT thingy....

(...) That's the part I guess I haven't resolved for myself: Is the studless construction "paradigm" harder for us because it: a) is different from what we know and are used to? b) is actually intrisically worse than regular traditional Technic Lego (...)   Re: Istanbul Tram

(...) Hi Bob, Am I allowed to say that looks great? I figure I can get away with it because I really like the alternate livery you've chosen ;) Did you make a mod to allow it to turn over the motor? If you have I'll edit it into the CAD file. I (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Before I say anything else, I want to point out that as the author of LDView my comments here are necessarily biased. So keep that in mind as you read them. (...) I disagree that it's not useful to have the unofficial parts in another directory. (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: Testing long filenames was Re: Unofficial directory (with non-standard name lenght)?

(...) My best guess is at that time MS was trying to make things safe for old programs (although it seems senseless for them to have done this with Win32 apps). If you call the Win32 function GetLongPathName on the short path, it will give you the (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: Istanbul Tram

(...) Tim, Here is a brick built version of your tram: (URL) Slight mods for parts, color, and brick reality - the close coupling does not allow turns when over a motor - the center boogey peg gets in the way. It is a very nice model, ran well, and (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
