Re: Interesting technic piece, possible town use

(...) Ah, thanks! Available in black too. I can work with that. Thanks again, Tim, Big Daddy and Steve. Best, Jonathan (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Interesting technic piece, possible town use

(...) That's a ZNAP part. It is LEGO. (URL) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.inv, lugnet.town)

Re: Interesting technic piece, possible town use

(...) It is. (URL) Technic pins would work, but those Znap connectors... zeesh! "Big Daddy" Nelson (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Interesting technic piece, possible town use

(...) Ah, I just read the text to the auction. Could very well be ZNAP. Drat. From what I see there, I really think I could make it work. Jonathan (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

Re: So I got this NXT thingy....

(...) One of my favorites is turning a pair of NXTs into a $500USD remote control car, that I won't take out in the snow. (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Interesting technic piece, possible town use

(...) Looks like ZNAP to me. Not sure how easy it is to integrate with proper lego/technic though. Tim (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

Interesting technic piece, possible town use

While wandering around Bricklink, I found this auction. (URL) Does anyone recognize the curved part in the lower left of the 3rd photo down? I am not nearly up to speed on technic parts as I should be. The curve appears to be made around a 3 stud (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.inv, lugnet.town)

Re: Unofficial directory (with non-standard name lenght)? (Was: LDView 3.1 on Mac OS X!)

--snip-- (...) Personally I'm against maintaining it. It forces us into strange naming conventions for something which probably affects no users of the software. Tim (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: area51andahalf

(...) Looks like an interesting way to control the pivoting motion of a jointed vehicle! Now why is that person's entire folder of lego pics under the keyword 'Avatar'?: (URL) Shouldn't it be under MOC or some other more accurate term? (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Unofficial directory (with non-standard name lenght)? (Was: LDView 3.1 on Mac OS X!)

(...) So far, we have maintained the old DOS convention of max. 8 chars and no SPACE used in folder names. I realize that fewer and fewer programs and utils are made in DOS evironments, maybe I'm the only to still make quick 'n' dirty programs in (...)   Re: Novel multiplexer: 12 outputs with potentially one motor

I like stuff like that! 'Macro Mechanisms'. Remember when there was discussion and about a MOC made that replicated a device called the 'Geneva Wheel' was it? (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic)

  Performance chart for lithium rechargeables

What can one expect out of the lithium rechargeables? One of my friends, an FLL coach, is reporting that their rechargeables seem to have "memory". Are there technical specs for the rechargeables? (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

So I got this NXT thingy....

Got it last night, didn't do much to it besides rip open the box and put some battries in it to hear the 'on' sound (miss the old 'beep beep' of the RCX, but that's neither here nor there...) Today I installed NXT software, update firmware, and then (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Large pictures of 2007 Castle Sets

(...) I see those skeleton horses pulling the war wagon that have been talked about. I'm afraid that they look like small dinosaurs to my untrained eyes. Not as scary as one might expect the undead to look like. But I'm ok with them being cute: (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Eric's MechBay 14 looks good!

(...) Interesting use of those UFO parts...I could never find any use for them except for flying saucers. But yours do match what I would imagine a domed cover to look like. I suppose you could brasso off the markings if you wanted to go for the (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Eric's MechBay 14 looks good!

(...) Yes I could have if I had found it while searching to see if it had already been talked about...unfortunately I didn't spell it the right way but now I know thanks for pointing out my error, CM Tim! I will strive to do better in the future and (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
