  Re: Hello Seattleites, take 2

I have to start getting the kids ready for school and I am blowing through a bunch of lego sales on ebay and have spent most of my free time sorting lego for these (...) Hi, everyone-- Well, after two months, I'm back in the good ol' US of A and (more importantly) able to post. I was unfortunately limited in what I could buy while in the UK and on the Continent because of container space, but I still found some (...)   Base Plates

I've visited several web sites where I've seen these large, gray studded base plates being used as foundations for some of the immobile robot designs. Where do you get those? I can't find them anywhere... <sob> Thanks -- Did you check the web site (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: 10x20 green baseplates

Hmmm, Let's see, I have sets 148 (Central Train Station) and 149 (Shell Refinery). They both came out in 1975, and both have the green baseplates with the tubes underneath. That would place the conversion date prior to 1975. I also have a 1970 US (...) (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: When should an auction end...

(...) As a seller, I'm prefer to know when an auction will end. As a buyer, I bid only what I can afford or what the item is worth to me. If I get beat I can not complain, but I do occasionally laugh. Scott A (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.theory)
