I apologize if this is a oft asked question: but where is the best place to learn how to create a non-official part? I'm specifically looking to make rings of specific inch/mm sizes. What I found on LDraw seemed to go over my head, nor can I figure (...) (20 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

Maybe there is no news to tell... I detoured from BrickFest at the last minute to attend Playmobil World (funny scheduling, huh?) The awesome display there was a preview of the Roman theme Playmobil, which should be in the US in 2007. The German (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Well actually... You could legally include a copy of the ldraw parts archive that pre-dates the license that all the authors had to agree to and then have your install script look for newer parts, if it detects an Internet connection... (...) (20 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)
