Re: Newswatch: Fifth Legoland Park in Kansas City area in 2009

My whole take on this is that it is NOT Lego driven, but developer driven. If it goes thru, then the taxpayers of Kansas will be paying for this. But if it fails in the end, it could affect the reputation of Lego... the product. I am leary about (...)   Re: Shut up and build.

(...) Sounds good to me. I took over the livingroom again (there may be "discussions" when my wife gets home... but the kids are happy). I'm trying to come up with my first Moonbase module (seeing as how my 7-year-old did it last year, I'm striving (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-06, to lugnet.people.support)

  BrickFest 2006 Venue visit

I had a chance to visit the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner yesterday while returning from a trip to the east coast and can offer this report.   New NXT Utilities

I have posted a couple new utilities for the NXT on my BricxCC website. One (MidiBatch) is a batch conversion utility for converting MIDI files into NXT Melody (.rmd) files. (...) which IMO are so detrimental for all pictures containing high frequencies (=sharp edges). PNG is lossless, and doesn't generate anything like that. I know what I would use... JPEG is (maybe?) good for continous color changes, ie photos. (20 years ago, 15-Aug-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Mindstorms software

I had it working for a while on XP but then it would crash during the tutorials and the computer would not work correctly until I rebooted. I think the problem is with Quicktime 3.x. It did not seem to install it correctly as it reported that it was (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Shut up and build.

I am in need of LEGO therapy. My life is too stressfull right now to come to Lugnet and read pointless threads. I need to read about LEGO. I don't want to read about who did what to whom. I need to see new MOCs. Heck, I'd even read threads about (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-06, to lugnet.people.support) !!
