Re: How many pieces in a pound? (estimation...)

(...) The estimations I've heard and used (to reasonable accuracy) are 400/pound and 500/pound. So I generally go with 450/pound and it seems to work out ok. I've also heard the estimation 1000/kg, which works out to roughly 454/pound, which is (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

How many pieces in a pound? (estimation...)

Good Afternoon, I'm looking to estimate the number of pieces in my collection. I have an average mix of bricks and specialty pieces, That have come from sets, but also from garage sale aquisitions, PAB, and friends donations. I don't have the time (...)   Re: 4x4 Tic Tac Toe...

(...) It CAN be done. My program logic + all movement instructions fit into the RCX for our 3T contest. The logic was complete, it would play "perfectly" according to the logic, and it was all done with nested ifs. The mechanicals were the downfall (...)   Spike Building Guide Typo

So how do we report a Building Instructions typo? In the Building Instructions for Spike's Tail, frame 8/30, an axle is indentified as a #4 on the parts area and as a #3 on the subset build area. Three girls in my current class pointed out the typo (...) (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Bionicle parts

My son ask me to build his MOC's with LDraw, but very much of the bionicle parts are missing in the official libary and also on the parts tracker.   Re: Too much time on their hands...

(...) As I was tracing out a tailplane onto Lego wing shapes last night I wondered to myself...boy, I'm ashamed and embarassed that I have too much time on my hands that I would be trying to build a scale accurate airplane. Then I saw this. Calum (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 4x4 Tic Tac Toe...

(...) A little googling came up with this: "255,168 unique games of Tic Tac Toe to be played.   Re: TTT - R22 - ball board

  Re: TTT - R22 - ball board

(...) I agree with Vitali on this. its "simple" as a T3 game, yet, by allowing the balls/marbles (1) to start off to the side, opens up many different ways to play your ball. Chris 1. to be determined (20 years ago, 10-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
