Re: you losers are SO going to lose R21

(...) The problem really is that the rope is slippery. This makes it very difficult to make a self locking mechanism to trap the rope. Derek (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: DSNY Streetsweeper

(...) Very sharp sweeper!Very nice detail for such a compact truck....brushes are neat. I must have missed it when Larry put it on our layout...looks good on there next to all my datails(trafficlights, fences etc.) mayybe not as cool as your streets (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.town)

What REALLY happens in the Sarlaac pit!!!

Hey all! I guess this answers the age old question of what happend to Boba Fett when he got eaten by the Sarlaac! Saw this posted earlier, but thought I would re-post it to make it a bit more easy to find! This was well after my time at Legoland, so (...)   Set # 7475-1: Fire Hammer vs. Mutant Lizards $15 at Giant Tiger

The subject says it all. Set # 7475-1: Fire Hammer vs. Mutant Lizards is at my local Giant Tiger for $15. (Yes, Chris, you can get Lego at Giant Tiger....just very rarely) -Rob A> (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: R21 - seceret weapon.

(...) So....at 11:30 last night I was tweaking my program and accidentally ran my bot off the table. 1.5 pounds does not allow for my usual over-zealous reinforcement.... I finished a complete (and better IMHO) rebuild at 2:00am :) No late night (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) C'mon Calum - there are two things I remember from university physics... 1) force = mass x acceleration. 2) You can't push with a rope. -Rob A> (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Tutorial on reviewing parts

(...) You did mail it to me: I'd really like to include it, but it seem a bit too sketchy imo: I've mailed it back to you with some suggestions 2 times, but I guess your spamfilter ate it or someting...   Looking for Alternate Mindstorms 3804 projects

I'm looking for alternate projects and building instructions that use only the LEGO bricks in one Mindstorms set 3804. For sale books or on-line websites, either is welcome. Any pointers? Thanks! later, James Mathis (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: July 29, 2006 SMART meeting

My son Sean has built 4(!) robots for the drawing challenge. I'm not sure how many of them we'll end up bringing to the meeting. The last one he built using his new NXT set. Total build time was under 30 minutes, and that was his first NXT robot! I (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  Re: Lunar Ice Harvester

(...) I love it! Looks the part and works too. I really liked how you thought out sections of this model and how the actual device would work in real life. Calum (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  NICE

Wow! This MOC is a perfect combination of model team and Technic. It looks like a design TLC should make into a kit. (URL) (20 years ago, 28-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic)
