  Re: A bridge too far...

(...) Dave, That's cool. I've started creating a layout in my basement, and I've been thinking about adding something like that as an access panel to the middle. It could be cool to have a button you could press, to automatically open the bridge and (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  A very DIRTY story!

Hey all, These photos have been languishing on my hard drive for several years, and as an aperitif to a much needed update to my website (it's been over a YEAR! *hangs head in shame and flagellates self on naughty bits w/ stacked baseplates*), I (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: I pinch Lego Elements...

(...) Thanks Dave, I often go around saying... "Maybe a little pinch"... and my kids do think I have lost it... but they have more proof than just my the Element commercial obsession.   Re: It looks like a glue stick.

(...) CNN? I get that ad on The Weather Channel- but there's no way I'm putting it on my forehead until they tell me what it's supposed to do. OTOH, maybe that's part of it- you apply it, and since everybody's forehead is different, everybody gets a (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Super positive review of #4894 Mythical Creatures

As a virtual palate cleanser for my previous review, I had the pleasure of purchasing and building the big green dragon. The Designer sets, IMHO, are the last bastion of the Lego that was. All the sets in this series have eptomized the Lego building (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jul-06, to lugnet.reviews)

Mostly negative review of #3827 Adventures on Bikini Bottom

I will start with the positive things first: The mini-figs of all the characters are very well done. In particular, the Patrick mini-fig, with it's non-fixed, turnable head is the stand-out. I loved how Gary was done, the lime green cherry piece for (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.reviews)
