  Re: The Corinthian

(...) Thanks. I had wanted to make a ship on par with others around (like yours for example) that I have seen for a long time, but I haven't had the time. I'm also happy to see that two masts looks good, I had been thinking of adding a third but (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Have you got your NXT yet?

(...) Ye gods! Those are some huge bugs. Is there any way to report them to Lego or NI? (Guess I spoke too soon about good Mac support.) I'm repairing permissons now, and I've fixed up my uninstaller shell script. But this is a big problem that (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: 2nd Joe Vig Contest Entry: The Smile Factory

(...) Grin..... After all the mess you lot put him into, no wonder that our poor friend Joe is craving for a makeover. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Eccezionale camion MAN

Luca (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

Re: Alternate hotels for BrickFest 06?

(...) Hi Rob, there really isn't any place within walking distance of the Premiere. However, you can check the following web page for alternate hotels close to Tyson's Corner. If you look there, you'll see the convention hotel listed at the bottom. (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest Bulletin: Mindstorms/Technic Contests

(...) The balls will be free to roll randomly about the playing area. There is no set positioning for balls at the start of each match, but we will try to get them "evenly" deistributed around the table. The field is not divided. It is one large (...)   Re: Dear LEGO Company,

(...) That was briefly mentioned at BrickFest last year (and I mean briefly, as in a passing reference). There was mention of keeping track of sales of LDD models, and if one was popular enough, the builder would be contacted. I don't know what has (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Dear LEGO Company,

(...) Sounds like a decent idea. (...) Ok that sounds completely ridiculous. LEGO has said time and time again that their primary audience is kids, not AFOLs. Even if the average AFOL spent $500+ per year (and I'm making this number up), we'd still (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: NXT newsgroup needed

Hi Robert, That would work for us on a mailing list, but not those who want to differentiate by drilling down on the web interface. If you are on a mailing list, it really is pretty painless to subscribe to more than one list. I think having two (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: NXT newsgroup needed

My thought is to have a single Mindstorm group because I think almost everyone is interested in both. I only have a single RCX and am not planning on upgrading anytime soon (got into RCX relatively late in the game). In fact I am hoping to find a (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Alternate hotels for BrickFest 06?

I'm trying to conserve as much money as possible so I can actually [attend] BrickFest this year, and I was wondering what other hotels were [VERY] near the convention hotel that I might could use points for instead of cash. I'll quite possibly have (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: NXT newsgroup needed

I can see most groups in one place, as I use most of them like a mailing list (although this means I miss out on the joy of FTX). I tend to agree that I would like to see both NXT and RCX stuff as well as a lot of the other robotics and lego stuff, (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.robotics)
