The solid stud minifig heads were produced from the mid 1970's until the early 1990's. In red they were only ever sold in 2 1977 sets, the #205 Indians set (1 red solid stud head) and #277 Fireplace Homemaker set (5 red solid stud heads). These were (...) I recently built a very detailed version of the U.S Air Force's famous F-16 Fighting Falcon. It was built entirely with Lego and I spent about 20 hours perfecting the design. No glue was used.
