Its a Completely New Castle (was Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle)

(...) Compare (URL) the new 10176> with (URL) the original 6090>. Clearly the new castle was merely inspired by the original. I am surprised S@H is even making the comparison. The new one actually looks much better from a design stand point. It also (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: thoughts on gbc module reliability

(...) Agreed. That's why I think that testing is one thing, but situational testing is something else. Over the last week, I have run nearly 25000 balls through my latest experiment. I think the trick is to set things up to feed themselves, (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: thoughts on gbc module reliability

(...) My pirate ship fired balls using a spinning LEGO tire like a pitching machine. By the end of Brickfest the tire was completely bald, and there were small flecks of black rubber all over the place. You can test, test, and test some more, but (...) The self propelled crane is cool even if it is simple, but the other cars well... the nicest thing I can say is that there are three more cars. To spend $150 I need (...)   R21 -- a NEW DAY will dawn JULY 29 2006

Ok, due to the OVERWHELMING success of my post and the replies, I have good and bad news. The GOOD news, is that I will get to work my fireworks show on the 22, and keep little Abby accustomed to the life style she thinks she deserves. The BAD news (...) Has anyone seen the truck with the bridge sections anywhere yet? Does anyone know of stores that are going to be getting it in stock? Does anyone know of an AUS RRP/price? (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle

(...) We do have it in the USA. It will ship by July 18th and does not come with the bonus flag pack. The set is called "King's Castle" here, much to my dismay. Ben (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle)

Re: thoughts on gbc module reliability

(...) Yeah, that's a good point. I've yet to have a module fail due to wear, but for at least one of my modules I've actually found a dusting of yellow ABS under certain axles by the end of the day. I guess part of this is just due to the fact that (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.robotics)
