  Web page update - spaceships
 
I've added a few more spaceships to my web page. These were constructed (and photographed) nearly a decade ago when I was still at school. More recent MOCs will come when I get hold of a digital camera... (URL) well everyone, Paul (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) From what I remember reading, of the 35 model builders in Enfield, all but 9 got dismissed with this years downsizing. Can you imagine being a model builder for 20 years, and suddenly have to go out and get a real job? What else are you (...) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
 
  new pneumatic cylinders?
 
I built the 8448 last week. Clever set, fun to build. Last night I picked it up, and the gull-wing doors wouldn't open. Turns out the new 'pneumatic'/'hydraulic' cylinders were both broken, the springs had pushed down into the cylinders. Apparently, (...) (27 years ago, 18-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
