  Re: TanSport

I like the shape, like the grille-teeth, like lots of stuff about it. I can't, however, understand a sports car (vehicle) in any shade of brown. Sports cars gotta be red, yellow, black, or British Racing Green. IMO. :-) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Lego Brand Stores Questions

One thing I have been doing as an Ambassador is compiling questions from AFOLs regarding the Lego Brand Stores in the UK. I will shortly be sending them off (and afterwards hopefully receiving some answers). If anyone here has any relevant (...) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.loc.uk)

--SNIP-- (...) I think .build.schleim has one too... or at least it has everything else... mascot, story etc. so it should have a theme song ;) Tim (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.vikings)

  Re: We are your overlords!

(...) OMG. Led Zeppelin. [flashbacks to high-school ensue] Now I've got to go play this record or it'll be stuck in my head all day. :-) Thanks for the inspiration. Hmm.. is this the only LUGNET newsgroup with a themesong? -Suz (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.vikings)

Re: New Batman Mini-Movie - Trailer Available

(...) Neat, but ... am I the only one that much prefers a true stop-motion LEGO film than one that's entirely CGI? Part of the fun of watching a LEGO movie, for me, is thinking that with enough time, bricks, and patience, I could do that. (OK, (...) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Coulda sworn i posted this

(...) Yes, thank you - and some phrases sound much more musical in Japanese. Still, the Google spot did not mention the various versions of this in LEGO. Shame on them! ;-). (...) Couldn't resist :) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Re: Mayday! 4 new MOCs - Retro space - Thunderbirds

(...) Thanks Nathan... I totally agree, in fact I did have it elongated but I couldnt close the pod door. I guess I should have made T4 first, then the pod, and then T2! Oh well... Live and Learn! (...) Thanks Bruce, I would have liked to have the wings "tuck" in, but at that scale it just looked way too messy, and yes, that is a clear baseplate, I got them on ebay. Janey "Red Brick" (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Alternate History Tech: Cardinal

Those are great! I also like TB2 the best. I should also note you did these in a very nice scale... it really lends itself to the style of MOC. I never liked TB3 in the show but your MOC improves it ; ) The only change I would make is to TB4, it (...) (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hey Eric, Very cool. The design of the feet is very interesting - though I'm not sure I understand the combination of jointed legs and wheels. Is this a rollerskating mech? The use of the old tow truck piece as tail is very clever. Bruce (19 years ago, 26-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
