  lowering noise

Hi guys. As you might have heard, I recently had to turn off someone's posting privileges[1]. I really don't like doing that sort of thing. So, in an effort to cut down on the likelihood of trouble in the future, let's go over a few basic things (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Re: The Polar Express

  Re: 3747 - 2006 new variant

(...) No. That does not work. I've been able to find only one functional difference (improvement) you can clearly see here : (URL) That square limit how deep, Technic bushes for instance, can be "studded"; preventing it also to be "angled".   Modlex Titane: Mecha Transformer Skeleton

Hi, Here's my latest: The Modlex Titane. It's a Mech skeleton, which transforms. The principle was to build just a skeleton and upgrade it to a full transformer mecha according to the customer's needs. Here's the link: (URL) Let me know what you (...) (...) The lines do end up with different thicknesses at different places due to the way they get drawn. As far as I know, thick lines in OpenGL are drawn such that a section perpendicular to the line direction is all drawn at the same Z depth. So (...)   Re: Truck Cab

(...) I like it, except the windshield seems too blocky. I'm not sure what to do about that using existing technology[1]. In my experience, the windshields on semi tractors are usually quite small and come in two pieces (left and right hand sides). (...) (20 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 3747 - 2006 new variant

(...) Is this a functional difference? It looks like something (a 1x1 cone, maybe?) should be able to stud into the center of that square. The only 2006 sets I have with part 3747 (7893 and 6205) have the older version. (20 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Brickshelf Find: Chubby GM

Interesting... On one hand, its well-built, and the design elements closely match the intended model. The torso is off, but that can easily be fixed. if the legs and arms were extended slightly, this would be absolutely amazing! On the other hand, (...) (...) The whole body shape seems better suited to the Scopedog or the appropriately named Fatty from VOTOMS. Although I guess the legs would need to be a bit beefier. Jeff (20 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
