  Alien Fish

This is a fish that I was working on yesterday. Just to re-iterate what is already on BS and MOCPages, the only reason I called it an "alien" fish is because it has an odd, thruster-like attachment on its tail. The only reason for that is that I (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Crosstrack 9v Question

Are the two directions on the 9V crosstrack electrically independent of one another? I'd like to have two ovals that each have separate controllers/engines that cross one another. Will it work with the vanilla crosstrack? (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) The only problem with that is that it necessitates the entrants having/buying a mouse, and letting it run around... but I'll see about it. (...) Jeffery (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: Zaku MS-06A Mobile Suit by Charlie Citrin

Nice. This Zaku has a clean look to it. For me, a real selling point is that it doesn't utilize alot of unique (or expensive) elements. It is clean, simple and elegant without relying on hard-to-find bricks. Oh, its also nice to see a mech so (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto21 Tentative Ruleset Published

(...) Well I just weighed my last bot for Project Y without the transfer openings, and it came in at 2.5 lbs. I'd be leaning toward 1.5+ myself. Just throw an existing build on a kitchen scale and see what it weighs... -Rob A> (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Save 9v Trains

I have to say that I'm really depressed by the defeatest attitude surrounding Eric Kingsley's post about trying to save 9v trains. Someone who actually has the ability to give our feedback to Lego has stepped up, given us what information he has, (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Who's the April fool now?

(...) LOL The uncoupler worked very well, it is based on similar 'withdraw the magnet behind the buffers' principles as (URL) Reynolds' shunter> from about a year or so ago but of course with more space to play with worked even better. Also, without (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Better late than never, BrikWars 2005 is out of the gate

(...) Excellent! My son (then 5, now 7) and I have been playing versions of this for years, and love it! nothing says "screw the rules and have fun" like playing BrikWars with a kid. As I fondly remember, our first game involved secret weapons (...) (20 years ago, 3-Apr-06, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, FTX)
