Re: What are the most valuable Service Packs?

(...) OK, here's my other choice for most valuable Service Packs, a Samsonite set - Why the Samsonite (versus the European) version? Because the 1960's Samsonite service packs usually contained more parts than the European (same set number) (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Pics of Dutch railways models

Thanks for the reply. I remebered seeing that technique on your gray train station "study" as I think you called it. That is why I thought you did the same thing on the door. I am always looking for new ways to fake a door. Thanks, Christopher (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Yes! Cool, less work to do on that, more time to spend on something else. (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: We need to get together!

(...) Did that too. In fact, I probably worked in the labs during the same time as you did - Summer 94 through Summer 96. My wife's in charge of hiring people for the labs now, so I mentioned you might be dropping by. (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.us.tn.knx)

Re: Bricks @ Guarded Inn Beta-Testers Sought

(...) Actually, that's the way proxy bidding should work, IMO. Equal bids go to the earliest bidder so the first bidder should only have to meet, not beat, a challenger in a proxy war. Doug (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

(...) You know, those castle parts, I had a set of those at one time. My mom got them from Germany. I wonder who they are from, because I do not have them anymore. Scott Sanburn (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: We need to get together!

I used to work for the Computer Labs when I was an undergrad. Around '94-'96. I worked in the library (ground floor), Andy Holt Apts, the Humanities bldg. lab, and that old lab on the hill next to the stadium. Good job as I recall. I'll have to go (...)   Re: How much for a 6036?

(...) Just because a set is discontinued doesn't mean it's a collector's item. 6036 was arguably the crappiest of the Royal Knight sets. Castle people probably have as many as they need (I bought about 40 of them at 50% off for parts). Newbie (...) (25 years ago, 16-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Castle-themed building MOCs
