Hogwarts Express train - collaboration with James Mathis

Hi all, A couple of weeks ago James contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in working on a preliminary design of a Hogwarts engine he had made. It was good timing since I was getting rather bored with no new projects so I started. Firstly I (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Remix Lenin Entry

(URL) Hi, this is my entry for the Remix Lenin contest. Nothing special, just a little bit fog and radiosity. I'm not able to use the Lugnet colors - is this because I use POV 3.1g? Leg Godt Sven POV code: (URL) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

  Re: Strandbeest

(...) LOL! The video with the charging Strandbeest was funny! It reminded me of that battle scene in the movie Sparticus. That MOC is a good artistic representation of several soldiers running side-by-side with swords drawn. (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.technic)

Re: event driven vs. timing driven code...

(...) You know, I'm man enough to eat my words from before...I am looking forward to this too. I spent a lot of the weekend working on my "you come to me, I'm lazy" robot. Prompted primarily by my friend Sacha, who wrote all the software for it. (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Re: MOC: Working solar powered rover and geiger counter

(...) Hey, your RCX power-on electronics challenged me to try to wake up the RCX by software. This is quite difficult, because if powered down, the RCX not only shuts down all its peripherical devices, but also sends the H8 micro-controller to (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.robotics)

  Few more questions

How many robots are coming? I'm asking because if I build a hopper to old 10 blocks, the hopper scratches the 1 foot high mark on my 'bot. Sure I could make it more complicated, but... ;) A more important question, however, is the scoring.. If half (...) (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Sometimes I feel out of touch...

(...) The stors I visit have tons of Knights Kindom/Bionicle/Dino, a few tubs but very little else. Sometimes an exo-force, but I'm thinking what all this is telling me is that I should take more trips to cookstown Dave K (20 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
