Re: explain polarity to middle school children

(...) Hmmmm, that is a challange, because any cursory example leaves out the physics. I was just thinking perhaps if you likend polarity to a visual of a two lane highway.   explain polarity to middle school children

I tried to create a couple of images to explain give children, age 10 to 12, a good understanding of what polarity is. They all know changing the direction of the motor.   Re: Question about image generation

(...) The key bit is the -W option -- it draws thick lines. The $scale is the width of the line, in pixels. For the ldraw/partsref/peeron images, we use -W3 (but we also set scale to -S3, for a 300% zoom). -Q is supposed to result in higher-quality, (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LDraw files for Large models/scenes?

  Re: Question about image generation

(...) You can also use "Save snapshot" in LDView to generate a similar image. If you set the edge lines to be always black, and set the Field of View to be 0.1, you'll get something like so: (URL) Cobbs (20 years ago, 9-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)
