Scott, that 50,000 or 100,000 was for the whole group. I probably wouldn't want more than 1 or 2 thousand just for me. They make great columns in classic or neoclassic buildings. But I don't have plans to build the Roman Forum (just yet). Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

<snippage the size of Nantuckett> You also can add 2x2 tile and 2x3x1 three way slope. Is that description too weird? The piece comes in the Sphinx Secret Surprise. It's directly in front of the Sphinx. Greg "Why does she have dentures on her back?" (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general)

Great idea Rob! You can add 1x2 log brick to your list. (I bought it at auction, so I don't know the origin). Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general)

Gary, You know, I was discussing this with my roommates and I said, I bet Gary Istok and maybe Larry P. would order about 50,000 of the 2x2 white cylinder pieces. Looks like I wasn't too far off. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

Greetings, Buy the Technic sub kit on sale now from shop@home <mailto:shop@home> for 25 bucks. It has a gripper arm on the front that does exactly what you are asking. The default configuration is set up for pneumatics but could be easily modified (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) $100 for a 1906 is one heck of an oddity. I paid something like $38 including shipping for a brand new sealed copy about 6 months ago, and I don't recall seeing one go over $50 at any other time. Hi David, Are you sure Ben's grabber won't work for you? Using a smaller and lighter grabber based on his original design, I can pick up one of those wheels. What exactly doesn't work? Here's my design (Minerva): (...) -- Did you check the web site (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Thanks for the info John, very informative. If we got group orders in bulks of 50,000 or 100,000, would that be enough to justify a special run of specialty pieces (such as 1x2x2 windows, 2x2 cylinder bricks, 2x2 tiles)? Gary Istok (...) (25 years ago, 9-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
